I’ve made a new Reaktor noise box, using sine bank and noise oscillators, granular resynthesis and filters. It also has a crazy trippy skin. Sounds roughly like HAL with a really bad virus… so great for adding some bizzare bits of noise or pseudomelody to tracks.

I just loaded a new effect ensemble ensemble to the Reaktor user library . Don’t let its calming blue appearance fool you, its a dirty one – basically made for destroying the input sound and turning it into crusty rhythms or odd soundscapes

I’ve decided to upload my Reaktor back catalogue to kvr, (invader, phazmatic, gen-rate, stepnik and binary) so now you don’t need access to the native instruments user library to play around with Dataphiles synths.
Also, as if you needed a reason to love Reaktor I was looking on the download page for gen-rate, which already contained a pretty surreal series of posts, and someone has added this gem:

I’ve uploaded a new synth to the reaktor library. It is a subtractive synth controlled by a grid of buttons (no knobs etc). Which apart from making some weird and wonderful sounds also lets you draw little pixelated pictures on the control surface (as above). If you’re a reaktor user and you fancy having a go you can download it from the user library.
I’m going to try to find another home for my reaktor ensembles as well so that kore users and people without acess to the user library can get hold of them.
